Cardinal Ritter raises $25,000 during annual Founder’s Day
ST. LOUIS, MO – Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School raised $25,000 during their annual Founder’s Day dinner event held on October 6. The dinner and awards ceremony, attended by nearly 200 guests, honored various groups and individuals who have helped shape the Cardinal Ritter Prep mission. Money raised at the event will assist with tuition costs.
Donn Johnson, director of communications for the Missouri Historical Society, was Master of Ceremonies for the event.
This year’s honorees were Father Mitchell Doyen, assistant superintendent of secondary education at the Archdiocese of St. Louis; Tom Nolan, executive director of ACCESS Academies; Pearl Richardson, a former teacher at Cardinal Ritter College Prep; Katrina Hubbard, a 1991 alumna; and the School Sisters of Notre Dame and the Daughters of Charity.
Major sponsors included Monsanto, Cedar Creek Conference Center, Centene, Fred and Carole Brown, Grand Center, Husch & Eppenberger, National City Bank and the School Sisters of Notre Dame.
Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School has educated students from the entire St. Louis region for more than 25 years and opened a new, state-of-the-art school in Grand Center in 2003. This year, as in years past, all Cardinal Ritter Prep seniors graduated and moved on to college.
