YMCA Zealot Award Presented to Cardinal Ritter College Prep Principal and Board Member
ST. LOUIS, MO – Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School principal Carmele Hall and board member Reginald Scott each received a 2006 “YMCA Zealot Award” at the YMCA’s Tuxedo and Tennis Gala held November 11 at the Millennium Hotel.
The Zealot Awards are given each year to individuals who are intensively dedicated to a cause or effort consistent with the YMCA mission to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities.
Hall has spent more than 30 years educating youth. She is involved with the National Catholic Education Association, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and both the Missouri and National Associations of Secondary School Principals.
Scott currently is employed as the Community Development officer for National City Bank. He has been involved with community redevelopment projects throughout St. Louis to create affordable housing for low and moderate-income households. He also is a member of the Home Builders Association, the City of St. Louis Board of Trustees and the St. Louis Black Repertory Theatre.
