Enterprise Rent-A-Car Foundation Awards Grant to Cardinal Ritter Prep
The Enterprise Rent-A-Car Foundation awarded a $25,000 grant to Cardinal Ritter College Prep to help defer the cost of tuition for students who might not otherwise be able to afford tuition. Enterprise Rent-A-Car has been a longtime supporter of Cardinal Ritter College Prep. The Foundation provided funds to help finance the school’s new building in the Grand Center area in support of its capital campaign in 2000, and recently, has supported both Cardinal Ritter Prep’s Golf Invitational and Founder’s Day Dinner.
“We are thrilled with the dedication the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Foundation has shown to Ritter over the years,” said school president Leon C. Henderson. “Enterprise Rent-A-Car is a generous philanthropic leader in the St. Louis community. We are very fortunate to have the Foundation’s continued support.”
Enterprise Rent-A-Car is the largest privately held company based in St. Louis. Started in 1982 by Enterprise Rent-A-Car founder Jack Taylor, the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Foundation was established to allow the company to give back to the communities where Enterprise customers and employees live and work.
Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School has educated students from the entire St. Louis region for more than 25 years and opened a new, state-of-the-art school in Grand Center in 2003. This year, as in years past, all Cardinal Ritter Prep seniors graduated and were accepted to college.
