PRE-APPROVED AGENCIES

 

**All programs chosen must be with ‘not-for-profit’ / non-profit agencies.

**Participant is to directly or indirectly contribute to the betterment of agency clients or residents.

 

**All agencies must provide appropriate, non-related, supervisory personnel

who are willing to submit the appropriate documentation for the student.

 

TYPE OF APPROVED AGENCIES.                   

 

1.                  All licensed hospitals and health care facilities that provide student volunteer programs to assist the patients.

2.                  Licensed daycare and nursery school facilities in which the volunteer can help care for the children.

3.                  Licensed care facilities for the elderly in which the volunteer can share time with the residents.

4.                  Licensed care facilities for the physically or mentally challenged in which the volunteer can assist the client.  (Special education classes etc.)

5.                  Licensed educational facilities (schools) that allow the volunteer to tutor or assist with after-care programs.

30.              Summer Camp Counselors

31.              Participation in a Walkathon etc. = 5 hour credit if assisted with set-up, did the walk and donated a minimum of $50  to the cause.
